Cosmo USA (CPNA) furthered its reputation by introducing revolutionary technologies and forward-thinking programs at the 2018 event, held annually at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Over 40,000 attendees engaged with a record-breaking 1,415 exhibitors from 56 countries to discover unique brand launches, product innovations, new channels for distribution, packaging, and manufacturing; and to form key relationships with top industry professionals and retailers. The three-day event, which takes place under one roof encompass all sectors of the beauty industry.

The United States accounts for 20% of world consumption and are in third place, after France and Germany, among the destinations of Italian cosmetics exports with a remarkable growth compared to the previous year.

The most popular products, as far as Italian sales on the US market are concerned, are alcoholic perfumery, hair products and make-up products.
The ability to propose a mix of product, service, safety and innovation is the distinctive expression of the Italian manufacturer. The role of foreign markets remains fundamental for the growth and development of Italian cosmetics, both in terms of quality and technology.

The entire cosmetic supply chain, from ingredients to machinery, through packaging to the finished product, represents a market of great interest for Italian companies in the United States where a further 3% growth is expected in an area that will continue to grow at least until 2020.

The United States continues to be a frontier to be conquered.

The expansion abroad is in this period of crisis a strong point for Italian excellence, which, with 35,000 employees (who rise to 200,000 if we consider the related sector), represents the fourth European producer after Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
